2012 Summer Camp

For youth in grades 2-9, we still have some spaces available to go to Camp Chrysalis. For program information and the initial release form, please see the youth board or contact Travis. The dates we will be at camp are July 22-27, 2012.

Middle School Laser Quest

On Saturday, February 18 we will challenge Abiding Presence at several Laser Quest matches. Cost is $16.00 per person and runs from 10:00am-noon. We will meet at the Laser Quest at 606 Embassy Oaks.

Be the Church

On Sunday, February 26 the Confirmation class youth will serve at CAM as part of Be the Church weekend. We will meet at CAM and serve from 1:00-4:00pm. Then we will return to Zion, where we will share in a meal and an evening devotion before departing at 6:00pm.

Spring Arts Festival

The annual festival is on Saturday, March 3 from 10:00am-4:00pm. This is a fundraiser for teh 2012 ELCA National Gathering. We will help set up and tear down for the vendors as well as be available to them throughout the day.

Basketball Blitz

The annual basketball challenge against other Lutheran churches will take place on Sunday, March 4 and 11. We will meet at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church and will have times for both middle school and high school games.
